Easy Cajun Roasted Halibut
Wow your friends and family with this simple, delicious, and healthy oven-roasted Cajun fish recipe with little prep or cleanup
Ingredients
- 4 - 1.5" thick and wide halibut fillets
- 1 egg, beaten
- Hog Wild Cajun Seasoning
- 1.5 cups of Panko (Japanese) breadcrumbs
- Fresh lemon wedges to garnish
Directions
- Preheat oven to 450F
- Season all sides of halibut fillets liberally with Hog Wild Seasoning
- Spread out Panko breadcrumbs on a rimmed plate or baking dish
- Dunk seasoned halibut fillet into beaten egg, and then dredge in Panko breadcrumbs until coated liberally. Repeat with other fillets.
- Place coated fillets on a baking sheet which has been sprayed with nonstick cooking spray
- Place in preheated oven and roast for 10-12 minutes or until desired doneness is reached
- Remove from oven, cool slightly, and serve while still warm with fresh lemon wedges
- Enjoy and take all the credit and praise
*Substitute your favorite fish or even poultry or pork chops for an easy, tasty and crunch main dish. Feel free to use your favorite breadcrumbs if Panko breadcrumbs are not available
